Refund Policy

This policy explains when you may request a cancellation or refund for the Lumarity Life Assessment, how requests are reviewed, and how refunds are processed when Paddle is the payment provider.

Last updated: August 4, 2026

BEFORE ACCESS

Full refund available

If payment has been completed but assessment access has not yet been issued, you may request a full refund.

AFTER ACCESS

Reviewed by delivery stage

Once access, processing, analysis, or report preparation has begun, eligibility depends on usage, progress, applicable law, and Paddle’s rules.

MANDATORY RIGHTS

Consumer rights remain protected

Any non-waivable statutory right available in your country or region overrides a less favourable term in this policy.

Where a purchase is processed by Paddle, Paddle is generally the merchant of record and processes approved refunds. This policy works together with Paddle’s buyer terms and refund policy. The most favourable mandatory consumer right available to you will apply.

1. Scope of this policy

This Refund Policy applies to the one-time purchase of the Lumarity Life Assessment, including access to the six-stage digital assessment and preparation of the personalized PDF report.

The standard assessment is not a subscription. This policy does not apply to a future product unless that product expressly links to or incorporates this policy.

2. Refunds before assessment access is issued

If you have completed payment but Lumarity has not yet sent or activated access to the assessment, you may request cancellation and a full refund.

To help us identify the transaction, send the request from the email address used for registration and include your name, transaction or receipt reference, and the reason for the request.

3. Requests after access or service delivery begins

Once assessment access has been issued, the digital product has begun to be delivered. Once you submit responses, Lumarity may also begin organization, analysis, clarification, quality review, or report preparation.

Unless required by applicable law or Paddle’s buyer policy, refunds after delivery begins are not automatic. Requests will be reviewed case by case, considering:

  • whether assessment access has been used;
  • how many stages have been started or completed;
  • whether technology-assisted processing or human quality review has begun;
  • whether a draft or final report has been prepared or delivered;
  • the reason for the request and any evidence provided;
  • applicable consumer law and Paddle’s refund rules.

Depending on the circumstances, an approved remedy may be a full refund, partial refund, replacement access, correction, redelivery, or another reasonable solution.

4. Mandatory withdrawal and consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right that cannot legally be waived. Depending on your location, you may have a statutory period in which you can cancel a digital content or digital service purchase.

Where Paddle processes the purchase, Paddle’s current buyer refund policy may provide country-specific rights, including withdrawal periods that differ by jurisdiction.

In some jurisdictions, a statutory withdrawal right may end once digital content or service delivery begins after you have expressly consented to immediate performance and acknowledged the effect on that right. Any such consent will be presented clearly before payment where required.

5. Technical defects, material misdescription, or non-delivery

Please contact us promptly if:

  • you cannot access the assessment because of a persistent technical problem;
  • the delivered product is materially different from the description shown before purchase;
  • you completed all required steps but did not receive the report within a reasonable period and the delay remains unresolved;
  • the report file is corrupted, inaccessible, or materially incomplete.

Lumarity will first attempt to correct the issue, restore access, replace the file, or complete delivery. If the problem cannot be resolved within a reasonable period, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund under applicable law or Paddle’s buyer policy.

6. Duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrect charges

If you believe you were charged more than once, charged the wrong amount, or did not authorize the transaction, contact us and Paddle promptly. Please do not send full payment card details by email.

Verified duplicate or incorrect charges will be corrected or refunded through the original payment provider.

7. How to request a cancellation or refund

Start by emailing contact@lumarity.co from the email address used for your order. Include:

  • your full name;
  • the email address used for registration and payment;
  • your transaction, receipt, or order reference;
  • the date of purchase;
  • a brief explanation of the request;
  • relevant screenshots or technical details, where applicable.
Purchases processed by Paddle

You may also request a refund through the support or receipt link supplied by Paddle. If Lumarity agrees that a refund should be issued, Lumarity will communicate that decision to Paddle, and Paddle will process the refund. Lumarity does not refund Paddle transactions outside Paddle’s system.

8. Review and processing time

Lumarity aims to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days. More complex requests may require additional information or coordination with Paddle.

If approved, the refund will normally be returned to the original payment method. The time required for funds to appear depends on the payment method, bank, card issuer, and Paddle’s processing timeline.

Access to the assessment and related materials may be disabled when a full refund is issued.

9. Fraud, refund abuse, and chargebacks

A refund may be declined where there is credible evidence of fraud, misuse, substantial consumption of the product, deliberate misrepresentation, repeated refund abuse, or another manipulative practice, except where a refund is required by law.

We encourage you to contact Lumarity or Paddle before initiating a chargeback so that we can attempt to resolve the matter. This does not limit any lawful right to dispute a transaction with your bank, card issuer, payment provider, regulator, or court.

10. Contact

Refund and cancellation questions may be sent to contact@lumarity.co.
